Harvest Tips:Harvest upright varieties when seed heads are about three-quarters open. Harvest cascading varieties when the tassels begin to elongate. Remove foliage so the spikes and tassels are more visible. If producing driedflowers, allow theflowers to grow until seed has begun to set and theflowers feel ﬁrm to the touch. If picked too early, they shrivel to thin strings. Harvest the mainflowers and allow sideflowers to develop.
